2012 there will be no BlizzCon
2012 seems to be not a good year for fairs: Microsoft has made known his intention of starting next year, not to be present at CES, and was thereafter known that MIX will continue to be a stand-alone event more. Blizzard gamers and eSports fans from around the world are invited to be there when some of the most talented professional players on the planet will fight for money and fame.
Okay, well and good. But why do we not get a BlizzCon 2012? The simple answer: Blizzard has a lot to do this year, the calendar has been packed close together. However, the second year will be without a BlizzCon in calendar 2012 only: The first, original BlizzCon was held in 2005, the year 2006 was omitted, however. But since 2007 took place at BlizzCon each year in August or October at the Anaheim Convention Center, California instead.
